We built the thing we couldn't find.
When me and my buddy Jake moved to New York, we figured finding our people would be easy. Biggest city in the country, right?
Turns out it’s weirdly hard to find ambitious people who are also well-rounded. People who care about growth and rest. Work and life. Building something and having a good time doing it. The events we found were late at night, way too serious, or basically just drinking with name tags.
So we did the most entrepreneurial thing possible. We built the thing we couldn’t find.
Sundays, during the day, good coffee, good people, no pitching. Coffee & Chill was born. It blew up. And since we’re into wellness, we started hosting more of the stuff we actually wanted to do with the friends we were making. Yoga in the park. Saunas and cold plunges. A book club with no homework. Hikes. Retreats.
Build the world you want to live in. That’s kind of the whole thing.
Now Satori is a community of like-minded, ambitious people who aren’t just following the typical path. Grind but chill. Lift heavy, build heavier. Meditate, then dominate (peacefully). Serious about our craft, always down to laugh.
