Ambitious people who like to hang and see each other win.
We’re a group of like-minded people who are building cool stuff (a career, a business, a hobby), into self improvement, and also want a life outside of it.
Founders, creators, operators, people with a day job and a side thing.
The common thread isn’t what you do, it’s that you’re ambitious and you’d rather spend Sunday in the sun with good people than at a happy hour with normies.
Between events there’s a WhatsApp community. Someone’s reading in Sheep Meadow on Saturday, someone needs a workout buddy, someone found a new coffee spot. That’s where the spontaneous stuff happens.
The signature Satori hang. Coffee, sunshine, Sheep Meadow or a vibey hotel, with conversations that go past “so what do you do?”
Yoga, sauna and cold plunge, pilates, workout classes. The stuff that keeps us feeling like we can conquer the world.
Read what you want, show up, talk about ideas. No homework police lol.
Weekends near the city and trips further out. Vermont, Puerto Rico, wherever the sun and fun are.
Movie nights, Halloween parties, cowork sessions, pilates and pumpkins, pop up events, whatever someone’s excited about that month.
You’re building something (a career, a business, a hobby), you care about your health, you want real friends in this city, and you don’t need alcohol or a 9pm start time to have a good time.
If that’s you, you’ll fit right in. If you’re mostly here to pitch, this probably isn’t your crowd. No hard feelings.
Events are open. Grab a spot on Luma and say hi to a stranger.
Like the vibe? Fill out the short form and we’ll add you to the WhatsApp community.
Come to the stuff you like, skip the stuff you don’t. Start your own hang if you want. That’s how half of these started.
Satori is a social club and community in New York City for ambitious people, mostly founders, entrepreneurs, creators, operators, and people with a day job and a side thing, who want to make real friends while they build their careers. We host coffee hangs, yoga, sauna and cold plunge sessions, a book club, hikes, and retreats.
People in NYC who are ambitious about their work and also care about their health, their friendships, and having fun. Most members are in their twenties and thirties, but there’s no age requirement. If you’d rather spend a Sunday in Central Park than at a networking happy hour, you’ll fit in.
Mostly Manhattan and nearby. Coffee & Chill is in Sheep Meadow in Central Park. Yoga, sauna sessions, pilates, and book club move around the city. Retreats are upstate, in Vermont, and further out like Puerto Rico.
Mostly weekends and daytime. We’re not a late-night crowd. New events go up on Luma a few weeks out.
Sometimes, but it’s not the focus. Most of our hangs are daytime and built around coffee, movement, and conversation, so it rarely comes up. Some Side Quests and retreat dinners have drinks around. We’re not a sober group, it’s just never the point.
Most events are free. Some, like sauna sessions, fitness classes, and retreats, have a cost that we pass through at whatever the venue charges. There’s no membership fee.
Come to any event on Luma, then apply to join the Social Club. That gets you into our WhatsApp community where the between-event stuff happens.
No. Nobody pitches, nobody hands out business cards. People do end up working together, but that’s because they became friends first.
Kyle Ferguson and Jake, two founders who moved to New York, couldn’t find ambitious people who were also well-rounded, and built the thing they couldn’t find.
New York, NY
Ambitious people who live well.
